CSKA Carnabys Bio
Probably one of the most consistent players to stick on a CSKA shirt was the ever dependable, ever reliable Paul “Bullet” Iliffe.
After making his debut in CSKA’s first ever game in 2008, Bullet would go on to rack up 172 CSKA appearances putting him 5th in the club’s all-time most capped players. Predominantly playing in the centre of the park, Bullet was always active and encouraging even when the going was tough, with a great voice and excellent leadership. His wisdom and reading of the game allowed him to play more defensively in his latter years as more of a ball-playing defender, and was always good for the odd goal and assist, most notably his bullet header against Trinderbox which landed him a club nickname for life!
