CSKA Carnabys Legends DayA Match for ChubbySaturday 31st May 2025 The legends of CSKA Carnabys will take to the field on Saturday 31st of May to honour the name of one of the club's finest players, Richard "Chubby" Augustus.Chubby played 181 times for CSKA Carnabys over 9 seasons, mostly in the first team. During his time at the club he played alongside 105 other players competitively. He kept 21 clean sheets and was voted Man of the Match on 10 occasions.We will honour him in a way I think he would have loved, a day full of football, and maybe the odd beer (or four!).As such we are reaching out to all former CSKA players over the years to come forward, make a donation to his chosen charity "Crohn's & Colitis UK" by buying a shirt which will allow you to take part on the day.As the shirts need to be ordered and sent in time for the game, I am asking that all orders and payments are made by Sunday 13th April. Anyone who hasn't paid by then will miss out on the match, but you will have an opportunity to donate to this wonderful cause through purchasing raffle...
