What a performance today lads the way we came back from a goal down shows everyone put in a shift including the subs who kept talking to the team throughout the game.

We started really well in the first half we where the dominant side and was so nice to see what we where taking shots at the keeper. We did make a few sloppy passes but these things happen and they got a lucky goal out of nowhere. It was so pleasant to see no one hid and still wanted to play our style of football but we just struggled in the final third to score. Just before half time the opposition started getting on each others back this was due to us keeping the ball, playing 1-2’s and they just struggled to follow with Manish or Thommo who where joining in with the attackers BUT Tom (Captain) took charge played a couple of passes through midfielders and I would say is in contention for goal of the season.

We all regrouped at half time we knew they were in for the taking. We started the second half as we spoke shifting the ball around making the oppo work, Thommo and Manish being involved in most of the play. Dougie scored a lovely goal and Gildo with a neat header to finish things off.

We took so many shots at the goal today and took the pressure off the defence, everyone enjoyed it and played with a smile. The way we let the ball do the work and our movement off the ball was fantastic, Amit with loads of space out on the right and Dougie kept pushing their back line back.
