This mid-table clash ended with the visitors heading back down the A6 with all three points in what was a challenging game for CSKA II. 

Injuries and unavailability meant a small squad was available. Matt Danes and Chris McCafferty made their first CSKA II appearances of the season, whilst Josh McDougall kept his place in the team moving into the AMC role.

A ball over the top on 20 minutes bounced over the defence to give SLF an easy finish to make it 0-1, and a wonderstrike in first half injury time gave the vistitors a deserved two goal lead.

CSKA II defended well in the second half to keep the game interesting, and when Jonah Carroll was fouled inside the box, Andy Pettitt converted the resulting penalty to make it 1-2.

CSKA tried in vein to push for the equaliser, and acrobatic goal line clearance denied them, and unfortunately a third goal came in injury time to seal the points for South Leicester Foxes.

A well contested game on all accounts, CSKA II with work to do in the coming weeks.
