Great performance against a side who like to play the ball on the deck like we do and we showed all the way through we can compete with the best.

We started the game really well and should have have took the lead on a couple of occasions but just unlucky with the shots, we kept pressing and also playing our style of play. It was good to see we mixed it up at the back from playing the ball around and moving it forward or going long as their back 4 couldn’t judge the flight of the ball. They got a goal from a simple 1-2 but as we spoke pre-match if we go a goal down we know we can come straight back into it and that is what Tom did with a nice free kick and went into top left! 

We actually started the 2nd poor and a good save by Ben Lewin kept the goal out, we regrouped and all focused again and started playing some simple 1-2’s, moving off the ball really well. Chapman and Manish driving forward with Manni backing up and all 3 unlucky with shots at goal but we kept pushing. Lovely delivery by Warner from the corner for Gildo with a great control and shot to keepers bottom right to take us 2-1 up.

We could have won the game at the end with a few chances but I think a draw was a fair result at the end.
