The legends of CSKA Carnabys will take to the field on Saturday 31st of May to honour the name of one of the club’s finest players, Richard “Chubby” Augustus.

Chubby played 181 times for CSKA Carnabys over 9 seasons, mostly in the first team. During his time at the club he played alongside 105 other players competitively. He kept 21 clean sheets and was voted Man of the Match on 10 occasions.

We will honour him in a way I think he would have loved, a day full of football, and maybe the odd beer (or four!).

CSKA Carnabys will therefore be hosting the inaugural CSKA Legends Day bringing together former and current players to play football and raise money for this wonderful cause.

Anyone else attending will have an opportunity to donate through purchasing raffle tickets, taking part in mini games and supporting small vendors on the day.

The event will take place at Farley Way Stadium, home of Quorn FC starting at 11:00am with the first of 2 games kicking off at 11:30am. We would like to thank them in advance for hosting this event. 

After the event, we will finish the evening at The White Hart in Quorn.
