CSKA Carnabys have announced that Danny Chapman will take over management of CSKA II from 2024/25 Season. With rumours circulating during the back end of 2023/24, Chapman made it apparent to the club that he wanted to take on this role in a bid to drive the club closer to its targets.
Chapman has been playing for CSKA II over the past two seasons, the first of which he led as team captain. Despite his history of goalscoring records for the club that sees him fourth on the all-time goalscoring list, and proud owner of three Gold Boot awards, Chapman has been playing in a deeper midfield position more recently.
He brings to the role a wealth of experience, understanding of the game, and a determination to succeed.
We wish Danny “Chappo” Chapman the very best in his new role.
“Danny made no secret of how much he wanted this role. He sharess a lot of the same ambition I have with regards to player development and squad harmony/integration. His experience and knowledge of the game will be an asset to the players around him.
I am delighted that Danny has decided to take on this role at the club. He will thrive on the competitive elements of the job and has a great rapport with the players that will no doubt prove to be a holistic success.” – CM
