CSKA Carnabys are an amateur football club based in the village of Quorn in North Leicestershire.

Founded in 2008, the club’s origins trace back to Victoria Park in Leicester, the club’s first home venue. Before moving to Mossdale Meadows in 2009, and eventually Rawlins Academy in Quorn in 2012.

The club have always competed in the Leicestershire Alliance League, fully affiliated with the Football Association of England. At 18 years old, they are one of the longest running Sunday League clubs in the county.

The club’s name originates from the band “The Carnabys” which was led by Luke Williamson who along with Chris McCafferty formed the club in 2008. The original kit was that of the Russia national team, which led to the name CSKA Carnabys, as a nod to the donation of Russia shirts.

You will find CSKA Carnabys playing throughout the season on Sunday mornings, with 10:30am kick off times. 

Players range in ages from late teens to early 40s. We are an inclusive club, and take every measure necessary to ensure players and supporters are looked after.
