Below is a rundown of the pre-season sessions currently confirmed.
As you can see we have a regular slot on a Monday evening at Rawlins Stadium (7:30pm – 9:30pm), and Thursdays (venue TBC) (7:00pm – 8:30pm).
The Thursday sessions are mainly fitness based sessions, with Rawlins Stadium hosting the football related sessions.
Don’t be that guy! Whilst the football sessions might sound easier or more fun, the fitness sessions are tailored around strength and endurance in a match and will benefit the squad holistically if we’re all that little bit fitter and stronger (even if it’s just 1%).
You will be notified on sessions via the Spond app, so make sure you have it on your phone.
Let us know your availability in advance via the Spond app. It enables better session planning if we know how many players from certain positions will be in attendance.
Arrive on time to join the warm up. Pitches are usually booked with a limited time slot so it’s best if we can utilise our time effectively.
You get out of it what you put in. Bring a good attitude to training and it benefits not only you but encourages others around you.
Even if you are injured, make the effort to attend sessions. There is often something to be learned, and again it shows great team bond to be there for your teammates too.
A lot of planning goes into the sessions, so respect those who are coaching and managing.
Leave it all on the pitch. We don’t hold grudges for what goes on during a session/match, we’re all men. We go for a drink after sessions and look forward to the next session.
